Chris Salewicz has documented popular culture for over three decades, in print and on television and radio.

A features writer with the NME from 1974-1981, his writing on a wide variety of subjects, has subsequently appeared in The Sunday Times, the Independent, the Daily Telegraph. London’s Evening Standard, Conde Nast Traveler, Q, Mojo, The Face, Time Out and many other British newspapers and magazines, as well as countless publications worldwide.

Whilst living in Jamaica he co-wrote Third World Cop, the most succesful film ever in the Caribbean, and he is the author of more than a dozen books, including Songs of Freedom, the auhorised biography of Bob Marley, the acclaimed Rude Boy: Once Upon a Time in Jamaica, and Mick and Keith, a studys of two Dartfod schoolboys.
